And we are all healthy! Thanks for your prayers! Today's activity was putting candy canes on the Christmas tree, and then (of course) eating one...or several...
Excuse my topless son. He hates clothes. And excuse my hair...
There are no words.
Fully clothed, hair-in-place Charlotte even tried to help...
And by "help", I mean...
Hunter tried to show her how to hang the candy canes on the tree...
...but there was no way that girl was loosening her grip on candy.
I did finally pry it away from her to try and remove the plastic. After she realized that I was giving it back, she toned the drama down a little. But then everytime I would try to pull the plastic down for her, she'd get so mad that she'd throw the candy cane on the floor and break it. So I finally just threw it away. And do y'all know what she did? Went into the front room and took another one off of the tree, pranced back into the living room, broke it in half, and started sucking away...
with the plastic still on. I actually liked it better that way...much less mess.
Our verses for tonight were Luke 2:3-5 "And everyone went to their own town to register. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child."
Hunter was much more into the Bible verses tonight. We talked a lot about what a census is and that Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem, which is a city, while baby Jesus was still in Mary's tummy.
So excited about tomorrow night! Stay tuned for more fun...
