Busy Brookses

We've done a ton since I last posted, and since there's no way I'll catch up on individual posts, I'm just going to do a May catch all...

The first weekend in May, James and Hunter went on a Cub Scout campout. Hunter loves doing these campouts with James, and I'm thankful they get that one on one time together. And also, I'm thankful that I don't have to go camping with them;)  These are the pictures that James took over the weekend...

Our Wolf Cub graduated to a Bear Cub...

Charlotte had her Kindergarten program the next week. Hunter actually got to do the flag ceremony for Cub Scouts at the program, but it was kind of last minute, so I didn't think to take a picture of him walking the flag up. Grey was pretty excited for him. He kept yelling, "Hunter! Hunter!" as he walked by and was on stage.

Char did great performing as usual...

She loves the stage!

I was thankful to get to volunteer at Field Day at the kids' school. It was raining that day, so we had to do it inside. I was in charge of Ready Spaghetti...

The second graders just got to go wherever they wanted with their buddy. Kinder had a kindergarten buddy and then 2 fifth grade buddies, so they all stayed in a group together...

Charlotte's fifth grade buddies were super sweet...

This past weekend was recital!! This is one of my favorite days of the year and one of my favorite things about having a daughter. Charlotte loves to get dressed up and perform, and she did awesome as always! LOVE their costume this year...

They started with tap, so they had those costumes on first. Charlotte and her friend, Madison, have taken dance together for 3 years now...
Sweet friends!

Here's the ballet costume...so cute!
James brought her flowers and she was thrilled!

Jennifer and Grandpa came...

And Aunt Katie and Vanesa...

And Poppy and Grandee...

And even Nana (from Corpus!) and Grandad and Nanny...

We were so proud of our little dancing fairy!

Two more weeks of crazy and then the kids are out for summer! This mama can't wait!
