Best Week Ever!

We had such a fun week!  The kids woke up every morning so excited for the next thing we had planned.  Along with a couple of play dates, we...

went to the Terrace Pool on Tuesday...
I was nervous to go alone with all three kids, so I invited several friends to come along.  It worked out great because one of Charlotte's friends and one of Hunter's friends were able to join us.  I was so thankful for Jennifer and Jennifer (their friends' moms) because they helped me so much.

Most of the time, we hung out along the side of the pool so Hunter could hold onto the wall. Sweet Grey just slept in my arms most of the time.  The water was so relaxing to him that he fell asleep in it:)  After a while, Riley and Hunter started chasing Charlotte and Madison...or really crawling in the water toward the girls while growling at them;)  I was able to get several pictures of the girls during that, but the boys were too fast to get any good ones of them...

On Friday we went to the Arboretum with the Ross's.  We haven't been since they started the Alice in Wonderland village.  I told Charlotte that some of the characters would be there, and she was super excited to meet them.  Here she is with Alice...
She was a pretty good Alice...even had the right accent.

Then we went to wait in line for face painting...

Surprisingly, Hunter wanted his face painted, too...

Kennedy and Charlotte went with the same style...

Spiderman...

Preston chose a tiger...
It doesn't even look like him!  That's some serious face paint!

After lunch, we went back to the Alice in Wonderland section, and Charlotte wanted another picture with Alice...

The kids wanted to relax in our bed at night because their days were so exciting (read: exhausting).  One night I was rocking Grey and looked over to see this...
Isn't that a sign of the times?!

Excited for this coming week of birthday, cousin and holiday fun!

Summertime Fun

We've had a great summer so far!  I thought it would be challenging again this year to get things done on our summer fun list because of sweet little Grey, but we've surprisingly checked off many things already.  I wasn't too ambitious when I made it because I knew it would be harder than in previous years.  It's actually been much easier than last year because I feel well...I'd much rather have a baby outside of my womb, than in:)  Nausea and the heat are a really rough mixture for me, so last year we didn't finish our list.

We've spent lots of time in the backyard playing in the kiddie pool.  Grey mostly chills in his rocker or in my arms...
I tried to put him in the pool the very first time we blew it up, but I didn't let the water warm up, so he SCREAMED as soon as his feet hit the water.

These two don't mind the cold, though!

Their favorite thing is to put the pool at the bottom of the slide and slide down into it....

One night I was making dinner while the kids played outside.  After a while, I looked up and saw that they were soaking wet...
I think that's even more fun to them than wearing their swimsuit.

We also brought out the sprinkler one day...

This time they were the ones that were screaming...with joy, though:)

Then today we had a water balloon fight...

I'm always amazed at how quickly they can zoom through all of those water balloons!  Especially after it takes me like 20 minutes to fill them all up.  It's definitely worth it, though...

Last week we had a lemonade stand...
We sold out of all of our lemonade and cookies!  Much more successful than last year when we only had one customer:)  For all of you lemonade stand novices, the key is definitely to text friends and family that live close by so they'll stop by.

Excited for more summer fun to come!

Corpus

So we went to the beach a while ago, and I uploaded all of these pictures to this post, but it's just been sitting here because I haven't had time to write it.  My baby doesn't sleep and I'm tired, so I'm going to make it really brief.

James stayed home because he had to work, so I followed Katie down and back to Corpus for the weekend to stay in Mom and Rich's new beach house.  Vanesa was SO MUCH HELP.  She is so good with Grey, and it actually felt like a vacation to me because she watched him so much...
SO thankful for her!

Hunter accidentally deleted all of my pictures from my camera, so all of these are either from the iphone or stolen from my mom's facebook page...

Rich and Mom have these islands around their house where there is rocks and landscaping.  Each kid picked which island they wanted to be named after them.  Mom's going to get signs for each one.  There are 2 left, so when Grey gets old enough, he'll get to pick his and Courtney's kid can get the last one...she only gets to have one kid so everyone can have their own island;)  This is either Zack or Charlotte's island...

Vanesa or Charlotte's...

Cole rode down in Katie's car to the beach.  Between Grey and him, stopping to eat was interesting...

We spent a lot of time goofing off and lounging around the house...

Poor Hunter was so tired and got woken up earlier than he wanted to every morning...

We went to eat lunch at this fun restaurant on the water one day...

Then we walked to the marina...

Back to the beach!

This must be Charlotte's island...

We're excited to go back in July with daddy!
