WDW Day 6: Hollywood Studios

Monday morning we woke up bright and early again for our last day at Disney World. The park opened at 8am again, but we didn't make rope drop. We had to check in for our flight and drop our luggage at the resort, and that always takes a while. We did make it right after they opened, though, and headed straight to Great Movie Ride...
We had never ridden this before. It was pretty good.

The plan was to meet Buzz and Woody next, but the line was already too long, so we headed to Mike and Sulley. They weren't meeting yet, so we decided to walk to Muppet Vision since we were already halfway there. James and the big kids went to get the stroller since we were walking further than we thought. While Grey and I waited, he kept going back to this coke and saying, "I see Coke! Yum!" Look how excited he is to take a picture with it...

The Muppets show is a 3D show. Grey's glasses didn't last long, though...
And of course he didn't make it through the whole show, so he and I went to see if Mike and Sulley were ready, and they were!
He loves Mike and Sulley, but the real life, life-sized ones terrified him. He kept saying, "not hurt you!" and wouldn't let them touch him.

We all headed to Toy Story Midway Mania to use our fastpasses after this. Grey actually helped play the game this time. I think he really enjoyed it. We had planned to see the Little Mermaid show after that, but the line was really backed up, so we went to use some of our snack credits instead.

We found a place that sold Mickey pretzels and grabbed one and some frozen lemonade. We headed over to a table with benches to share it, and after we were almost done Grey fell backward off the bench and landed on his back. It was kind of scary. He didn't recover quickly at all and kept trying to go to sleep. He just seemed lethargic overall, and I was concerned he might have a concussion. We held him for a while and kept him awake until he seemed a little more normal. I kept wondering if we should go find a doctor, but we headed to the Disney Jr show to see how he'd do. He was pretty quiet and just sat in our laps for a while, but once the characters started coming out, he perked up. After the show, he seemed like his normal self for the rest of the day.

We raced over toward the Indiana Jones show, but it was full, so we went to play at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground instead until our lunch reservation. The kids loved it...

Then it was time for lunch at Hollywood and Vine with Sofia, Jake, and Doc McStuffins (Handy Manny was also there, but we didn't even wait for him to come to our table because my kids don't really watch his show. And we were tired and ready to get out of there...Grey was being his usual mealtime-at-Disney-World self...You never would've known we thought he had a concussion just a few hours earlier.)

He loved Jake's buttons (and Sofia's jewels on her dress and Doc's stethoscope)...

Sweet Jake finally knelt beside Grey since he wouldn't look at us for any of the other pictures.

We went back to the playground for a little bit and then headed to Starring Rolls to get some sweet treats to take with us...

Then it was time to head back to the resort to get on the Magical Express to the airport. Here's our picture at the Hollywood Studios Christmas tree...

Sven!

We stopped to take some pictures at our resort before leaving...

It was around 3pm when we got on the Magical Express and we had left our room around 7:15 that morning, so Grey was beat...
And so were the rest of us! It was a magical trip and we can't wait to go back! (But James has vowed that it won't be until we no longer need a stroller.

Favorites of the day:
James - Toy Story Midway Mania
Carole - Once Grey perked up during the Disney Jr. show (Such a relief!)
Hunter - Toy Story Midway Mania
Charlotte - Great Movie Ride (That's what she said, but it kind of surprises me.)
Grey - Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground
