Advent, Days 22 and 23

Late Monday afternoon we headed to Northpark, and it was crazy town!  We are crazy for thinking it was a good idea to go there the week of Christmas, but we made the best of it:)  My mom went with us, which was so fun.  I know the kids love spending time with her.  Mom took these pictures of the kids while we waited for the Scrooge Theater...

Then, today we headed to the Gaylord with the Thomases to see the ICE!  Charlotte still loves to pose for pictures, but she's also really into making silly faces these days...

Grey wasn't thrilled about the hat and gloves, but he actually didn't fight it as bad as he usually does.  He must've been really cold!

I thought that little igloo tunnel was so cute...
...so Grey and I posed for a picture.  He wasn't thrilled...

Then, Char and Amelia took a turn...

I thought the Frosty theme was super cute this year...

Ready for the slides!

Char was up first...

Success!!

Hunter wasn't as thrilled.  He had to scoot the whole way down, which was "not fun"...

After the slide, Hunter was ready to be out of there.  I feel like this happens every year we go.  He was a good sport and took a few more pictures, though...

I always love the nativity...

This year they added this huge angel...

We got some hot chocolate to warm up a little after we were done, and then walked through the hotel.  The kids loved the trains and the little town they run through...

The decorations are so beautiful!

These two little guys were troopers.  They did a great job keeping up with the big kids...

We had a great time!  Can't wait to go back next year!

Tonight, we were praying for some friends, and Char said, "I pray that they would know that God twinkles like a star."  And we read about the Wise Men following the star and bringing gifts to Jesus.  I'm thankful to know a God who shares his light with the world.
