Happy Halloween!

Saturday night James went to Chipotle to pick up $3 boo-ritos, and then after dinner we got ready to head out for trick or treating. The kids had been so excited for their candy rush all day long! Grey has this cute headband that has the Jake and the Neverland Pirates picture on it, but he hates it. I was hoping to get at least one picture of him in it, but no such luck. He has a strong will that one...
He calmed down quickly after we put the headband away, so we all headed out front to take pictures on the porch. Our stealth ninja went first...

Love his ninja poses!

Then Rainbow Dash who of course also posed...

And one by the tree at her request...

And finally we got Jake out for a picture, but it took several tries to actually get him to look at the camera at the right moment...

And one of all 3...all looking at the camera!

And we were off! First stop was our next door neighbor's, the Grimes. The kids were excited to see William (who is Grey's age), and he actually went with us for a little bit, but I was in our house with his mom getting a tea light for her Jack o Lantern most of the time. William tired of it quickly, so by the time Kelsey and I got the tealight, I ran down to the end of the street to catch up with the kids and he was already turning around with his dad. Here's our kids with Aunt Katie's friend, Robin...
She was excited when she saw Grey.

And another neighbor at the end of the street who's son is actually in Hunter's class this year! Can't remember his name and didn't even realize they lived on our street, but Hunter was excited to see him...

There were several fun decorations in the 'hood...

A lot of them were scary, and Grey was having NONE of that...

He did love getting the candy, though! It was like a dream come true for him...

The kids scored in our neighborhood! We didn't even go down 3 full streets and all of their pumpkins were completely full. And heavy! Then we headed to Nanny and Grandad's (where Hunter was excited to see another friend from his class when he came trick or treating at their door. Hunter answered, and I heard him say, "Greyson!" and another boy excitedly say, "Hunter!"). Then we went to Aunt Katie's and finally Grandee and Poppy's. We have candy for days months!!!

It was a great Halloween. Love our neighborhood and that we have family so close!
