We had nothing on the calendar for today, but Hunter had lots of fun planned for us. Everytime I do laundry, Charlotte comes over and "helps" me by taking the clothes out of the basket for me to fold. Well today, Hunter thought it was time to show little sister what real fun with the laundry is like...
I know that last photo looks a little scary, but H stopped just in time to avoid slamming Charlotte into the wall. She never knew she was in danger;)After a while, Hunter wanted a turn so he hopped in and sweetly asked Char to push him. She tried...
and tried a little more...
but Charlotte needs a little more weight training before she'll be able to bench press her 40 pound brother.
After dinner Hunter wanted to ride his bike, which James and I were really excited about because he's wanted nothing to do with it since Grandee and Poppy gave it to him for his birthday. He put his helmet on and jumped on his bike in excitement...
Hunter doesn't quite have pedaling down yet, so James moved his feet for him...
but it turns out, he doesn't really have steering down either...
James quickly learned that beding over to help your son steer and pedal his teeny tiny bike in the 100 degree weather can be a little frustrating, so I took over to give him a break...
I quickly decided to put the pedaling on hold for now and focus soley on steering...
Hunter kept saying he wanted to ride his bike to the park, but his party pooper parents were exhausted by the time we got to the end of the street, so we told him the park would have to wait until the temperatures dipped down to a breezy 97 degrees or so.
Hopefully we'll have the steering mastered by next weekend and we can start focusing on the pedals.
