Mom and Rich took our family and Kate's family on a cruise the last week of June/first week of July and we had a great time!
Day 1 - Embarkation
As we pulled up to the cruise terminal in Galveston, I was shocked (and actually kind of scared!) at how big the ship was. Words cannot describe how massive this thing was! It was blazing hot and we had to wait quite a while in line. This little guy was not having it...
After we finally boarded the ship and had some lunch, Grey and I took a nap. James found him cuddled up to me like this later. SO SWEET!!!
Then we all headed down for dinner at the buffet...
...followed by the opening night show...
Grey didn't last, but the two big kids did great!
Then we all headed to Nana and Rich (and Hunter's) room and took some pictures on their balcony. What a view!
Although the view was awesome, I was actually thankful that I had an indoor room because I felt sick and dizzy every time I went out there (and super paranoid everytime I was out there with one of the kids).
We ended the night with some putt putt golf on the top deck of the ship...
Grey didn't play but loved exploring the course!
Day 2 - Cruisin'
The next morning, we got up and headed to the buffet for breakfast...
And then met Hunter and Nana at the pool...
The pool area was unbelievable! They had multiple hot tubs and pools and a kiddie area like at Hawaiian Falls AND 3 water slides for the big kids.
And how could I forget! Poolside ice cream machines!
James napped with Grey that day while I took the kids to the arcade after lunch...
That night was the first formal night for dinner...
Look how gorgeous the dining room is!!
Every other night our room attendant would make towel animals for us. Our first night we got a bat!
After dinner we went to play shuffleboard out on the deck...
And then headed to the pool to watch the movie and have some ice cream...
Day 3 - Cozumel
Our first stop was Mexico! We got up bright and early to hit the shops...
Look how massive our ship was!!!
We all hopped in a taxi van together to the shopping area...
Hunter loves to photo bomb!
Then we headed to Senor Frog's for lunch. I guess I didn't think they'd be that crazy at lunch. Yikes!
At least they made everyone balloon hats. That's kid friendly, right??
The waiters did a dance for us...
And then they played a game where you had to guess the name of the tv theme song for a shot. We weren't going to participate, but there was a song that no one in the place knew. Except of course, James knew it!
I guess that made everyone else at our table feel like they could play too!
That night we cleaned up from our SWEATY and then RAINY day before headed to dinner...
Look how many cookies they brought him for dessert!!!
Then we headed to watch another movie at the pool...
Gorgeous night!
Love this one's sweet snuggles!!!
I'll continue with day 4 tomorrow!
