JANUARY
Hunter had his Cub Scout Pinewood Derby, and we all went to watch him compete...
He won his den...
And got 3rd out of the whole pack...
He was super excited and was convinced he won because of Grandpa's special touch. Grandpa will definitely be helping us make our car again this year!
FEBRUARY
Grey turned one in February!
We had a super fun super bowl themed party. He loved his first taste of cake!
In February, Char and I went with Amelia and her mommy to see The Little Mermaid on stage. It was a special night full of fun!
And I went to Vegas with these sweet friends...
We've been friends for 20 years! It was quite a celebration. We've vowed not to wait another 20 for our next trip!
MARCH
In March, Hunter turned 7. We celebrated with some of his friends at Medieval Times...
It was a great birthday party.
During spring break, we had a fun jar and the kids pulled out an activity everyday...
We didn't actually go to Legoland like the paper says. I can't remember why, but some of the fun activities we did were Texas Discovery Gardens, Arboretum with friends, Dallas Zoo with friends, froyo, and Rainforest Café.
APRIL
We had more fun during holy week as we studied and reflected on Jesus and his sacrifice and love for us...
And Katie and I went to Pennsylvania to meet our niece, Keira!
MAY
May was filled with graduations and programs, but my favorite was Charlotte's tap recital...
Over Memorial Day weekend, we went to the Roberts' cabin with the Thomases and Satterfields...
JUNE
In June we started our summer fun list! One of my favorites was berry picking with the Blaylocks...
We had been meaning to go berry picking for years and finally got around to it in 2014. We'll definitely be doing it again! It was a great day of fun!
Later in the month, I had a reunion with my grad school girls to celebrate 10 years as practicing speech pathologists...
We stayed at a B&B in New Braunfels and made many new memories and reminisced over old ones.
JULY
We took 2 vacations in July. One to Arkansas with the Brooks crew...
And one to the beach with my side of the family...
AUGUST
We celebrated Charlotte's 5th birthday the first weekend in August with a party at Sweet N Sassy...
Best. Party. Ever.
The rest of the month was focused on the big move. This was a bittersweet day...
We loved our sweet little home on Fair Oaks Drive. It is filled with seven and a half years of memories. It was mine and James's first house together and the place that we brought all 3 of our babies home to, so it was hard to leave. Many tears were shed, but God led us where he wanted us, and we love our new home even more!
SEPTEMBER
Every year, September is the slowest month for us. We spend it adjusting to the new school routine, and this year, adjusting to our new home...
Hunter and I went on a fun after school movie date to see Maelficent one day. We loved it!
OCTOBER
Char got her ears pierced!
She was so brave! We did tons of fall activities in October, but my favorite was Halloween night. The kids' costumes were adorable this year...
NOVEMBER
At the end of November, James turned FORTY! We had a ton of fun celebrating all day and ended with dinner at the Melting Pot...
DECEMBER
December was full of activities, but my favorite of the month was Christmas morning. These kids were full of joy...
We're thankful for so many blessings in 2014. Looking forward to making new memories in 2015!
