I love our Arboretum membership, especially since they opened the new children's garden. That place has so many fun learning opportunities! Hunter is really in his element there. Except for the kiddie play area, he thinks it is awesome! Today we parked at the children's garden entrance, so we didn't even venture into the rest of the Arboretum.
Amelia and her brother and mommy met us there, which was so fun for Charlotte and Hunter (and Grey too, since he and Caleb are friends)! Every time we've been so far, they have had the water turned off in this rock/Earth/weather area, so it was fun to play in today with the water on...
Making a tornado...
And fog...
Grey did really well. He was happy just sitting in his stroller enjoying being outside...
Seeing life as a pollinator sees it:)...
We'd never been inside the building in the middle of the garden, but I had to go in to get Charlotte a bandaid today after she fell. When I saw how cool it was, I got everyone else and we spent some time in there. It was my favorite part! They have so much cool technology (that I didn't get pictures of because we were enjoying it so much!). They also have this plant lab. The kids thought these gloves were too cool...
Another favorite is the T Boone Pickens wind/rain area. Charlotte usually asks to leave this tornado area before it's over, but since Amelia was with her, she stayed through until the end this time...
Screaming the whole time...
Hunter covered his face for most of it...
The girls wanted to go again, but once time was enough for H!
This part is really cool, too...
Hunter and Charlotte always fight over these...
You spray the water and try to hit those orange plastic things to make them move.
Thankfully, there were several open today when we stopped by, so they all got a turn together...
Right before they closed, we stopped in this playground area by the exit. Hunter wasn't a fan, but the girls loved it and so did Caleb and Grey. Grey had fun examining these eggs...
So thankful to live in Dallas where there are so many adventures to go on!
